How to make those new goals happen
As you know I love me some new year reflections, goals and implementing habits for growth. Setting small obtainable goals is key for success. It is okay to start small and slowly start stacking habits together. This approach makes it so much easier to keep going and not give up. Another way to be successful is to think of it this way…..
Shoot for 85% each week. Yes, I know that most of us want that 100% to feel like we have been successful. Totally struggle with this too but hear me out! When we think about it, 85% is better than 0% or even 50%. Think about how many times you have started something and given up when you didn’t stay on track….
Don’t shoot for perfection, that typically isn’t realistic. You will get sick, the kids will get sick, life emergencies will come up, etc. All you have to do is keep moving, one task at a time.
Please stop beating yourself up, feeling like a failure and give up on yourself! You totally can do this! Remember one goal at a time until it is comfortable, then add on a new goal. Keep spinning the cycle until you have your new habits in place!
